Independent evidence for a business claim you need to evaluate.

Starting at $1,750 for qualifying inquiries.

When a supplier, prospective partner, seller, or business makes a consequential representation, you may need more than a search result or marketing statement. Infosourceful investigates the agreed claim and documents what independent evidence can—and cannot—establish.

What this is for

A single, precisely defined business claim that can be researched through an identifiable set of public or client-authorized sources.

For example, you may need to establish whether a claimed certification is recorded by its issuing authority, or whether available records support a specific statement about a business’s history.

We clarify the exact claim, its intended use, and the available evidence before proposing the work.

What you receive

A concise claim-and-evidence brief documenting:

  • The exact claim and subject reviewed.
  • The sources examined and relevant references.
  • Findings that support, contradict, or qualify the claim.
  • Material conflicting information discovered during the research.
  • Evidence gaps and limitations.
  • The research cutoff date.
  • Outstanding questions that require further verification.

What the starting scope includes

The starting offer covers one agreed claim or tightly interrelated claim cluster concerning one identifiable subject. Before research begins, we agree on relevant dates, jurisdiction boundaries, accessible source categories, and the completed brief you will receive.

The $1,750 starting price applies to qualifying narrow inquiries. Your written proposal confirms whether your question fits that scope.

When a custom quote is needed

A broader fixed-fee proposal may be needed for:

  • Multiple material claims or subjects.
  • Disputed identities or ambiguous records.
  • Historical reconstruction or complex ownership chains.
  • Records spanning multiple jurisdictions.
  • Significant contradictions requiring additional investigation.
  • Interviews, restricted-access sources, or paid records and databases.

Any paid source access or outside expenses require advance written approval. Questions requiring legal opinions or regulated investigative work fall outside this service.

What if the evidence is inconclusive?

An unresolved or contradicted claim is a legitimate research finding. We report what the evidence supports and where it stops.

The engagement does not guarantee that a claim can be proven or disproven, or that every new lead will be investigated. Additional questions or expanded research are scoped separately.

Start with the claim you need checked

Tell us the claim, who or what it concerns, and how you intend to use the findings. Your initial consultation and written quote are complimentary.

Request Claim Verification

If you’re trying to verify a claim, sort through conflicting information, or understand a complicated situation more clearly, start with the question.

We’ll take a look, let you know what can reasonably be researched, and suggest a scope that fits what you’re trying to learn.
