Website and inquiry information
When you contact Infosourceful or submit a research request, we may collect information you provide, including:

- information about your research question or project
- timing, budget, and confidentiality requirements

We may also receive limited technical information necessary to operate and secure the website, such as IP address, browser information, device information, and security or spam-detection data.
Client and project information
If you become a client, we may collect additional information reasonably necessary to scope, perform, administer, and deliver the research.
This may include correspondence, project instructions, client-provided documents, research materials, agreements, invoices, and records relating to the work performed.
Please do not provide passwords, authentication codes, Social Security numbers, full payment-card information, financial account credentials, medical records, or other highly sensitive information unless Infosourceful has specifically agreed that it is necessary and appropriate for the project.
How We Use Information
Infosourceful may use personal and project information to:
- respond to inquiries and research requests
- evaluate and scope potential projects
- communicate with clients
- perform and deliver research services
- provide secure access to project materials
- process payments and maintain business records
- protect the security and integrity of our systems
- comply with legal, accounting, tax, insurance, contractual, or other legitimate business requirements
Infosourceful does not sell client or visitor information.
Service Providers
Infosourceful uses third-party business and technology providers to operate the website and provide research services. These may include website hosting, email and communications, secure cloud storage and file sharing, payment processing, security and spam prevention, research databases, and other business systems.
Information is shared with service providers only as reasonably necessary for the services they provide.
The research request form may use services such as hCaptcha to help prevent spam and automated abuse. Those services may process technical information according to their own privacy policies.
AI-Assisted Processing
Infosourceful may use artificial intelligence and automation tools to support research, document review, organization, analysis, and drafting.
When nonpublic client information is processed through an AI service, Infosourceful uses business or API services with appropriate data-protection terms and does not intentionally enable client data to be used for model training.
Only information reasonably necessary for the research task is submitted. Highly sensitive information may be excluded from AI processing or handled through more restrictive methods.
AI-generated material is not treated as an authoritative source. Material findings are verified against the underlying evidence.
Client Confidentiality
Nonpublic client information and project materials are treated as confidential and are used only as reasonably necessary to evaluate, scope, perform, administer, and deliver research services.
Infosourceful may disclose information when required by applicable law, legal process, court order, subpoena, or other lawful authority.
Additional confidentiality and information-handling practices are described in the Research Policies and may also be addressed in a project agreement or NDA.
Data Retention
Research working materials and client-provided project files are generally retained for up to 90 calendar days after final delivery, unless a different period is agreed or continued retention is reasonably necessary.
Certain business records may be retained longer for legal, accounting, tax, insurance, contractual, dispute-resolution, or other legitimate business purposes.
Information may also be retained longer when required by litigation hold, subpoena, court order, preservation obligation, or other legal requirement.
Deletion from active systems may not immediately remove information from routine backups or third-party systems operating under their own retention practices.
Cookies and Embedded Services
Infosourceful may use cookies or similar technologies necessary for website operation, security, forms, and other site functionality.
Pages may also contain links to or embedded content from third-party services. Those services may collect information or use cookies according to their own privacy practices.
Data Security
Infosourceful uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect client and business information.
No electronic transmission, storage system, or online service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Your Information
You may contact Infosourceful to ask about personal information you have provided, request correction of inaccurate information, or request deletion where reasonably possible and not inconsistent with legal, contractual, accounting, insurance, preservation, or other legitimate business requirements.
Changes to This Policy
Infosourceful may update this Privacy Policy as its services, technology, or legal obligations change.
